3rd Base Rankings

Arenado – And one of these years he’s going to get lucky.
Bryant – A 2nd-round steal and it’s happening in some leagues.
Machado – Same thing except it’s happening in most leagues
Js Ramirez 2B – What a player in five cats and real baseball.
Rendon – As I said in WGB, room to grow in all cats. Batting 6th doesn’t hurt too much in that lineup.
Donaldson – One more big year.
Bregman SS – Really good but the game is not that easy. Ask Rendon.
Moustakas – No reason he won’t repeat 2017, all the skills are there.
Sano – Great spring shows he’s healthy, possible suspension offset by virtual certainty of 35 HRs in a full season.
Kyle Seager – Last Year’s Bum
R Devers – Surprisingly little love for such an obviously big talent.
Castellanos – The Tigers’ lineup won’t be terrible.
Beltre – Has dropped to 18th among 3B’s. Take what they give you.
Gallo 1B – 40 HRs, you have to hope he hits .240 instead of .210.
Justin Turner – Misses at least a month.
Eduardo Nunez 2B OF – Get a backup
E Suarez – He’s good, some people I respect think he’s going to get better.
Gyorko – He’s a regular, why is his ADP 340?
Travis Shaw – …while his ADP is 87? Frontrunners.
Longoria – Look for .280 with 18 HRs. Another deep position this year when Longo is #20.
Matt Chapman – Streak and slump.
Lamb – When does the platoon start?
Todd Frazier – Anything is possible but .220 with 23 HRs is the bet.
Maikel Franco – Poor spring and you would think a short leash. Still has talent, not a bad reserve.
Y Solarte 2B SS – Doubles are not a category but maybe he’ll adjust his launch angle
Healy 1B  So many 1st base bats have failed in Safeco.
Spangenburg – Will steal bases if he plays, with a little pop too.
Jeimer Candelario – Looks like he’s batting 2nd, where .270 with 18 HRs has more value.
JP Crawford – Minor league record does not indicate a star but the Phillies believe.
Matt Davidson – Which comes first, 25 HRs or 200 Ks?
Johan Camargo – Seems to be the regular, a little BA potential but not much else.
Miguel Andujar – Working out at 1st base they say, should be up by June.
Brian Anderson – The regular in Miami, could hit for average with modest power. More likely .250 with 11 HRs.

I’ll add Eduardo Escobar at the very bottom, he’s the shortstop now that Jorge Polanco has been suspended. And if you want to take a shot in the reserves, Nick Senzel. Actually, I would rather take a shot with Senzel, knowning that a few of the bottom feeders will be on the waiver wire in an emergency.
